CAPTCHA Spam Deterrent Option
CAPTCHA tests are used in order to prevent automated services or bots from spamming your forms. This type of deterrent reduces spam and helps ensure that a real person is filling out your form.
The Empoweren CAPTCHA requires that a user solve a simple text prior to hitting the submit button. Most CAPTCHAs require one to copy a word or random letters that are displayed in the box above the test. Most times, these letters are slightly distorted to prevent computer programs from learning to automatically solve these tests.
The Empoweren CAPTCHA also features an audio option so that you can listen to a CAPTCHA if the words are hard to distinguish or if an individual has a need for assistance.
CAPTCHA is an optional feature on all Empoweren Forms as some companies do not wish to use the service. So it can be turned on or off for every form.
