Easy Page Creation
Creating new pages within your website is very straightforward with Empoweren. You start by simply selecting a page in the site hierarchy near where you would like the new page to be located.
Doing this brings up the menu to the right.
From this menu, numerous options exist for adding new pages to the site as noted below.
New Page Before This: Aside from the home page, this option is available for all other pages and allows you to place a page in the site hierarchy on the same level just before the one that you clicked.
New Page Inside This: This will add a page within the section that you clicked. For instance, a page named Products is a common example of one that would be added within the Home Page.
New Page After This: This command allows you to place a page in the site hierarchy on the same level just after the one that you clicked.
To Navigation Only: This option is for adding links to the navigation that don't actually have content pages associated with them. The link will appear in the navigation and can contain sub-pages, but an actual page will not exist. This feature is ideal for those times that one needs a link like "Products", in the main navigation, but does not want to create a page that summarizes all of the products.
From Navigation: This option exists for those that want to include specific orphan pages on the server that are not linked with the rest of the site. These are typically used as landing pages used in conjunction with other forms of advertising as when someone may promote a temporary special to their email list and have them visit www.domainname.com/special-promo.
