Anyone who has built a lot of sites knows that not every so-called page in a site's navigation system requires an actual page of content. Oftentimes, the navigation requires a name for a category, but no content actually exists for the category page.
For instance, in the site below, the client did not want the "links" in the global navigation to link anywhere. Instead, they only wanted them to open dropdown boxes which would then provide links to content pages within the site. Many content management systems do not allow one to enter navigation only headers and it can be difficult to build some navigation systems without this flexibility.
